👉LinkedIn profile
Focus on the next role + LinkedIn algorithm
The biggest problem I see with the LinkedIn profiles is a lack of focus on the next role (instead, I see a lot of summaries of what you’ve done) and, also, the power of LinkedIn algorithm is not being utilised.
I review your current profile from the recruiter/hiring manager perspective and then, we work on your headline, job titles and the responsibilities to increase your chances to be found and contacted for the opportunities/challenges that you actually want next in your career!
👉Resume
Relevance/Match
I reject resumes (and so do the hiring managers) not because they are not good enough, but because they are not relevant ie I don’t see any match with the hiring manager’s needs/challenges/requirements.
The work context is not always black and white, there are many hybrid roles, and your expertise developed in these hybrid roles might be suitable for multiple roles. And, yes, in some cases you'll need a relevant resume version for each potential role/direction of your interest.
I review your current resume against the roles you've been targeting. We work together and make it more relevant, specific and marketable to match the hiring manager’s needs/challenges/requirements (provided you actually have the expertise/experience for these roles).

Personality + Communication + Critical thinking
In my experience, people who excel during the interview and get offered the job have high level of self-awareness in relation to the professional context they are in, in other words, they are aware of what's needed and how they satisfy the needs.
We work on identifying and presenting the parts of your personality that are sought after by the hiring manager. I review how you communicate, and make sure your professional narrative clearly demonstrates the match to the hiring manager’s needs/challengers. I also make sure you formulate the answers and the questions to showcase your critical thinking skills.
👉Lack of Growth opportunities (trap)
3M Growth model – Meaningful + Measurable + Marketable!
‘Nowhere to grow’ is often a trap! How can we jump to the conclusion ‘there is no growth’ if we don’t have specific criteria to assess our own professional growth?
We identify your growth criteria, making sure it’s Meaningful (you grow in the area of your actual open needs/desires), Measurable (decide what you measure and how you measure it) and Marketable (what you grow is in demand in the professional context you are in…this part, often, is being completely ignored). We then, map out some experiments to grow in your current or new company.

Marketability = how NOT to look for a job and rather be found by the next challenging opportunity!
What actually sells in the professional career context?
During my interactions with people, I hardly see any focus on what (actually) sells in the professional world! Often, we change jobs for the sake of novelty, (illusion) of growth, or out of necessity. Rarely, we think of the next job as the opportunity to become more marketable for the future opportunities. And then, marketability is what determines highly desirable position when we don’t have to look for a job, and much rather be found by the next challenging opportunity.
We dig out your marketable assets, main cards to play with and present (LinkedIn profile/Resume/Interview) for the next opportunity. We also focus on what you need to gain to become more marketable and open up more career opportunities in the future.
👉Annual Review/Feedback
In my observation, annual reviews don’t always achieve the objective they are created and being implemented for. Often, quite the opposite – after the annual reviews, we feel demotivated, lost, angry, ashamed, being treated unfairly…
I offer support, empathy and expertise to turn the emotional blocks into the resources to experiment and grow.
👉Job Search in Dubai/UAE
Job search is the area where I, probably, see the highest degree of dissatisfaction. And I agree, the Middle East region hiring practices play a big part in it. However, as a job seeker, I would rather focus on what's within our control and what we can change/improve now.
We identify the area(s) where there is a disconnect between what you have, what you want and what you’ve been applying to; we review and reconstruct (if needed) your Resume, LinkedIn profile; conduct a mock Interview to integrate necessary improvements; review your existing job search activities and set up the new daily activities/experiments.
